A Grand Junction man was recently arrested for an alleged sexual incident with a minor in another county.
According to court documents, an investigation with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office began on February 18, 2026 at the former residence of the suspect, 33-year-old Jacob Stouwie, who had allegedly engaged in a conversation via an electronic communication device with the victim, who is believed to be a child, and that individual was exposed to Stouwie’s gential area. The arrest warrant was issued on March 2nd, charging Stouwie with a Class D Felony for grooming and three serious misdemeanors for dissemination and exhibition of obscene materials to minors.
Court documents show that Stouwie was arrested in a home in Grand Junction on March 16th and he was booked into the Shelby County Jail. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
