Two indoor track & field meets have been completed with one more to go for the Greene County Rams. Both the girls and boys will compete on Saturday indoors at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake. This is Spring Break week for the Rams, but practice continues to not only prepare for Saturday, but the Rams are scheduled for an outdoor meet with other high schools on March 24 at Simpson College in Indianola.

Performances indoors at UNI and Iowa State last week were promising in several events for what may lie ahead once the Rams get outdoors. Greene County had several top 25 finishes inside the UNI-Dome’s A.D. Dickinson Relays, which was a one class, non-scoring meet with schools of all sizes competing. The meet at  ISU served at the Iowa Association of Track Coaches Indoor State Meet and the Rams had two girls’ events and two for boys place between third and seventh in Class 2A.
