Former Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Track and Field athlete Geneva Timmerman is making positive impacts at the next level for the University of South Dakota.
Timmerman, who is currently a sophomore for the Coyotes, recently posted a time of four minutes and 46 seconds in the Women’s Mile during the Summit League Indoor Championships at the University of North Dakota towards the end of February. Also, Timmerman set a USD School Record for the 3,000 Meters with a time of 9:23.76 at the Dr. Rick McGuire Invitational at the University of Missouri earlier this year.
Timmerman is a 2023 graduate of ADM, and ran a 4:49.52 in the 1500 Meter Run, then a 10:15.31 in the 3,000 Meters with her time running for the Tigers.
