A key senior member of the AC/GC Chargers football team has accepted his invitation to the Iowa Shrine Bowl.

Joe Crawford was the team’s main rusher, recording 1,298 yards on 106 carries, averaging 12.2 yards per carry. He also tallied 18 touchdowns, with the longest being 76 yards. He also caught the ball seven times for 160 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing a one pass for a 31 yard touchdown. On the defensive, Crawford recorded 15.5 tackles, with 10 being solo, and one being a tackle for a loss of yards, recovered a fumble, and intercepted the ball twice. He also performed six kick returns for 164 yards, including a 99 yard touchdown, and returned 15 punts for 357 yards.
