Dewey field could be receiving a make over in the future with plans to move and extend the current scoreboard for the Perry Bluejays and Jayettes.  Activities Director at Perry Community Schools, Tina Lutterman, discussed the planning for a scoreboard refresh at the Perry School Board meeting on March 9th.

As the plan currently stands, the scoreboard which was established in 2011, would be relocated to the west end of the field rather than the east end to help with viewer satisfaction. The school plans to look for some sponsorships from local businesses to help with the purchase and design of the new scoreboard, with advertisement opportunities on the video board which could promote works made by Perry students for local businesses.
