As spring sports continue to commence at Perry High School, the Perry Strength and Performance sessions (PSP) continue to provide students a place to stay in shape while working on their conditioning.

Measuring progress for the students, PSP coordinator Scott Pierce keeps records for the students to help them measure their growth. Recently,  Merhawi Goitom slapped his name on the leaderboard, tying for first place at Perry High School in the vertical jump category with a jump of 36.8 inches.

Goitom continues to work hard at PSP while the junior prepares for the 2026 track season with the Bluejays, after participating 100, 200 and 400 meter dash last season.
