
The Perry City Council met in regular session on Monday.
The council heard a presentation from the Raccoon River Valley Trail Association about results from a 2025 survey along with economic and health benefits. The council also heard the Perry Police Department’s Annual Report from Police Chief Jim Archer.
Items on the agenda that were approved included resolutions for a temporary construction easement for the Downtown Improvements Project Phase 1, the fiscal year 2025 annual audit report, a technical services agreement with Region XII with contingencies and a professional services agreement for sanitary flow monitoring.
The council also approved the appointments of Joe Tuhn to the Airport Commission for a four-year term and Hannah Pierce to the Park and Recreation Advisory Board for a three-year term.
