The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn and Perry Speech Teams performed well at the Iowa High School Speech Association State Individual Contest, though three students were recognized as some of the best in Iowa.

According to the IHSSA, ADM’s Haley Nelson, Jaeley Doll and Julia Logue were selected for the All-State Festival. Each student earned straight Division I-Ratings from their respective three room judges at this past Saturday’s state contest at Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson High School. They were additionally nominated by the judges to go to All-State.

All three will perform their pieces at All-State, with Nelson in Reviewing, Doll in Prose and Logue in Storytelling. 

The All-State Festival will be held on Monday, March 30 on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa.
