DCG boys wrestling had eight seniors on their roster for this most recent season, and each one played a big part in accomplishing their goal of getting to state as a team.
Logan Anderson went 8-3 on the year, earning 30 points for the team. He, Javon Russell, and Kyle Torsky didn’t get the amount of opportunities they would have liked, but still came to practice every day ready to work. Kahne Westergreen had an impressive 24-7 record and earned 105 team points. Connor Stolpe had a tougher time this year, going 19-11 for just over 70 points.
Brayden Crosser was a remarkable 41-5 on the year, including 19 wins by fall, and was one of the top point getters with 241. Blake Forrester had a very good 25-26 season as well. He finished with a record of 31-9. Cole Hemmingsen had one of the best years of his career in his last year in Mustang red and silver. He went 43-11 and was second on the team in points with 246.
Congratulations and best of luck to the DCG wrestling seniors!
