The Panorama School Board approved a bid for a major project in their March meeting.
Superintendent Kasey Huebner says that the district discovered the roof of the Panorama Elementary building was in need of some repairs, and have been discussing that throughout the year. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the Board made their decision during the March 2026 meeting.
“Those initial estimates came out to be about $1.2 million and the bids came in to about $590,000. So we approved that contract with an Anita company, Rigid Edge Exteriors.”
Huebner mentions that this project is planned to take place this summer after students are out of the buildings. He adds that the project will include the elementary building’s roof, and a section of the secondary, or middle school/high school building’s roof.
