Although the Panorama Boys Basketball 2025-26 season did not result in many wins, Head Coach Josh Beardsley is optimistic about the future of the program.

Beardsley just concluded his second season as the head coach for the Panthers, as they finished 2-20 overall. Despite that, three of the top four leading scorers were all juniors, with Cruz Crandall, Reed Draper, and Jaxson Stauffer. Beardsley acknowledges that he will be also looking to give more playing time to freshman Ty Ratcliff, plus sophomores Braden Bahrenfuss and Cruz Stanley. He highlights that there is a lot of promise coming up from the junior varsity level.

“(It was) fun to watch them and watch how they competed this year. They were down in a lot of games, and found ways to fight back in the second half. And so, that’s something that I’m hoping is a good mindset for them to come into next year with, and then continue to grow with connecting with the kids, and them learning my philosophy to be able to continue to grow on that aspect, and continue to get better on the defensive end.”

The two victories that Panorama was able to notch during the regular season were against Nodaway Valley and Ogden. The Panthers’ season came to an end on February 16th to West Central Valley in the Class 2A Region 7 First Round contest.
