Junior Lily Myers looks to continue to improve after a strong start to the 2026 track season at the IATC Class 3A Indoor Championships last week. Myers represented the Jayettes in the 400 and 800 meter run.

In her first taste of competitive action this season, Myers finished in 18th in the 400 with a time of 1:04.3 seconds, then improved in the 800 placing 16th with a time of 2:31.39 seconds.  Lily is already within seconds of her season best times from last season, less than a second behind her 400 meter best time and 1.47 seconds away from her best 800 meter time.

Always striving to improve and looking for another trip to the Drake Relays and state tournament, Lily Myers looks to continue to improve after her first taste of competitive action in the 400 and 800 meter run.
