The leader of the Panorama Activities Department discusses the joy around the spring sports season, even though it’s an extremely busy time for him personally.
Bruce Dahlhauser not only serves as the school’s Activities Director, but is simultaneously the Panthers Boys Track and Field Head Coach. He confirms that spring is amongst the busiest with sports such as track and field, golf, soccer, and then the beginning of baseball and softball. Dahlhauser lays out just how chaotic the spring season becomes.
“People question when I tell them that the spring is the hardest (and) busiest time from an athletic standpoint with so many different buses going in different directions. From that end, it is really busy, and it is the fastest two and a half months of the year.”
Despite that, Dahlhauser wouldn’t trade it for the world, as he loves feeling all the energy from the student-athletes and the Panora community. Panorama Boys Track and Field will next participate in the Earlham Early Bird Meet on March 31st.
