The Perry Chamber is asking for the public’s help for an annual event that raises funds for the annual fireworks show.

Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti outlines that the Radio Pie Auction will be held on Wednesday, April 1 at 8 a.m. She illustrates that the event will be a live auction across the Raccoon Valley Radio Network, where people can call in to bid on pies and other desserts. Pasutti notes that the chamber is seeking 20 volunteers that are willing to bake either pies, chicken pot-pies, or cakes for the auction.

Pasutti announces that the radio pie auction is the second major event that raises money for the Annual 4th of July Fireworks Drive, with the Big Boom Bracket Battle and the Grocery Bill Roundup as the others.

In addition to the auction being live on the radio, it will also be streamed on the Perry Chamber’s Facebook page.

To donate a pie or dessert, contact the Perry Chamber Office at (515) 465-4601.
