
Many players contributed to the West Central Valley Girls Basketball Team this season, with freshman Lily Clausen and sophomore Grace Bleckwehl knocking down the ball from distance.
Clausen made two of her five attempts from the three-point line for 40 percent, while Bleckwehl connected on seven of her 21 attempts for 33 percent. Bleckwehl played in all 24 games for the Wildcats this season, scoring 33 points, then grabbed 35 rebounds, had seven assists, and 16 steals. Clausen appeared in seven contests for West Central Valley, scoring eight points, then added three rebounds and three steals.
The Wildcats finished the 2025-26 season with a record of 9-15 (5-10 inside the West Central Conference), beating Logan-Magnolia in the Class 2A Region 2 First Round game, before falling to Westwood in the second round on February 17th.
