The Panorama Dance Team achieved a lot during this latest season, with senior Lexi Wasson helping lead the way for the rest of the girls.

Wasson says that dancing has always been a huge component in her life, starting at the age of four after her mother put her into a camp. She grew up in the Panora area, dedicating her time to the Panorama Dance Team over the years, being the lone senior representative for the Class of 2026. Panthers Head Dance Coach Kristi Vance expresses how deeply loved Wasson is to not only her team, but the dancing community.

“She is just so special. She played a strong role. She carried responsibility in leadership. Just brought a lot of strength and humility to the team, and we’re going to totally miss her. She’s just a hard worker, she did extra, she was our captain. Each team member wrote her a letter at our end of the year show, and then she returned that by writing each member a letter at the All-Iowa Honor Dance Team performance. Truly cares about her team and they truly care about her, and she is one outstanding senior.”

Following graduation in the spring, Wasson will be attending Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo to continue her dancing career.
