Perry Performance and Strength Coordinator Scott Pierce smiled from ear to ear while describing the energy found in the weight room during the PSP sessions.

Pierce had the students participate in a mind over matter workout which focused on grip strength and perseverance.

“We did a little mind over matter test by putting a trap bar and a bunch of weight in their hands. It was a grip strength test. When they lost their grip or their grip was failing them they had to keep pushing through, and these guys were screaming at each other. It was just super electric and fun to watch.”

PSP Coordinator Pierce looks to keep the energy up and keep the students engaged as the PSP sessions continue to grow in popularity.
