The Greene County Rams host a number of track & field meets this season and the Activities Department is asking for the public to volunteer their time. Three of the meets the Rams host at Linduska Field in Jefferson are varsity meets on Friday, April 10 for the Early Bird Meet, on Monday, April 20 at the Ram Relays, and on Thursday, May 7 when Greene County hosts the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference Meet. All three are coed meets and volunteers are being sought in a number of capacities.

Activities Director Dave Wright told Raccoon Valley Radio track & field is the most labor intensive of the sports the Rams host because of their being 19 events for girls and 19 events for boys on the high school level including running events, plus field events. Those interested in volunteering for one or more meets are asked to call the Activities Office at the high school at 515-386-2188.
