One AC/GC Chargers girls basketball player gets to put on the jersey one last time on Saturday.

Senior Camdyn Richter will be taking part in the 2026 Pizza Ranch Iowa Basketball Coaches Association Senior All-Star Series. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio how it felt to be recognized and chosen for this opportunity.

“When I first found out that I got chosen, I was very excited, and knowing that that was a big accomplishment for me. And when I look at the people who I’m going to be playing with and playing against, I know that they’re all very good athletes across the state of Iowa, and that they are pretty good elite players. So I’m excited to get to know each other a little bit more, play with them, and just have fun this weekend.”

Richter mentions that it is going to be exciting to take the court under Chargers Head Girls Basketball Coach Brad Baudler’s direction one more time, as he’s helped her grow as a basketball player. She adds that practices start tomorrow. The games will be held Saturday at the Dallas Center-Grimes Meadows and Auxiliary Gymnasiums starting at 10:45am for the girls, and noon for the boys.
