Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Basketball Head Coach Trevor Mickelson will be represented at the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Series this Saturday.

Mickelson has been selected as one of the two coaches for the Southwest Team with Des Moines Roosevelt’s Joe Katich being the other. Mickelson and Katich will be leading 13 players from nine different schools in Iowa, including ADM seniors Trey Bryte and Hudson Lorensen. 

Mickelson has been the head coach for the Tigers for five years, accumulating a total record of 86-37. During the 2025-26 season, ADM finished 24-3 on the year, with a second consecutive trip to the state tournament, and fell 43-39 to Ballard in the Class 3A State Championship game on March 13th.

The other teams feature Southeast Iowa, Northwest Iowa, and Northeast Iowa. All the games will take place on Saturday at Dallas Center-Grimes High School.
