The Panorama Track and Field Teams will make the relatively short trip over to Earlham on Tuesday for their second meet of the season.

Both the Panthers girls and boys teams participated in one separate meet already, as the boys kicked off the year in Cedar Falls for the A.D. Dickinson Relays on March 9th, while the girls were in Ames for the Class 2A Iowa Association Track Coaches Championships on March 13th. Panorama junior Laicey Lutz, who is a middle distance runner, reveals her preparation coming into the new year.

“During the off season, I joined wrestling to get more cardio, and then I also go to the gym and I woke up and I go run in the mornings, and lift (weights).”

The Panthers will compete against AC/GC, West Central Valley, St. Edmond, Woodward-Granger, Atlantic, Earlham, Greene County, Mount Ayr, Madrid, and Van Meter. The meet is taking place at Earlham High School this coming Tuesday at 4:30pm.
