As the Perry Boys track team recover from a scrimmage on Tuesday before their season opener meet on Monday, March 30th, head coach Jason Lutterman explain how coming into track season into shape helps prevent injuries before the meets begin.

“We try to tell them (the athletes), come into the season ready to run. If you’re relying on us to get you in shape day one, you’re going to be in trouble. So we’ve had some tight hamstrings, we’ve had some shin splints, and things like that.”

The Bluejays look to remain healthy as the first meet of the season is scheduled for Monday, March 30th at Bondurant-Farrar High School. The action is set to begin at 4:15pm.
