4:25am: A deputy investigated an abandoned 911 in the 900 block of East Sandoe Street, Grand Junction.

5:03am: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 500 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

9:22am: The Sheriff investigated an assault in the 800 block of Percival Street, Grand Junction.

9:23am: Braeden Turner 18 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for possession of media to exploit a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor.

10:12am: The Sheriff and Grand Junction Fire and Rescue responded to a single accident on 280th Street east of T Avenue. Preston Johns of Scranton was heading east on 280th Street in a 2024 Ford F-250. Johns lost control of the truck entering the South ditch striking a utility pole. The estimated damage to the truck is 10,000 dollars. The cost to replace the utility pole is around 1,500 dollars. No one was injured in the accident.

11:56am: Jerry Webb 40 of Missouri was booked in to the jail for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a short barreled rifle or shotgun.

1:29pm: The Sheriff, Jefferson Fire Department, and Churdan Fire Department responded to a grass fire on 210th Street and Hillcrest Avenue. The fire was started by a controlled burn from the previous day.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
