Paton-Churdan girls and boys head track & field coach Kory Jeschke is hoping for improved health for his athletes as the outdoor season begins. The Rockets start the outdoor season in Audubon early next week with the girls competing on Monday and the boys on Tuesday. The P-C teams competed indoors on March 21 at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake and the boys in particular did quite well, despite 2025 Class 1A high jump State Champion Trevon Keely not being 100% due to a knee injury. He only high jumped at BVU and did not run.

Coach Jeschke told Raccoon Valley Radio, “Not having Trevon at 1oo percent prevented us from running what we think will be some strong sprint relays, but we hope to be healthier as we head outdoors.”
