The three large communities in Guthrie County will be holding their annual Easter Egg Hunts on April 4th.

The Guthrie Center Chamber of Commerce and Rose Acre Farms will once again be holding their event at the Guthrie Center Elementary School playground. From 10-10:50am there will be a visit from the Easter Bunny, with instruction for the hunt to be given at 10:55am. Then the hunt begins at the sound of the horn at 11am. The age groups and areas they participate in can be found below.

The Panora Chamber of Commerce will have their hunt at the town square and Vets Auditorium, with crafts and games also going on inside the auditorium from 9-10am, and the hunt to follow. Once the hunt is over, the kids empty the eggs and keep all the goodies inside, as this hunt uses plastic eggs. The Panora Easter Egg hunt is for children 11 years old and younger.

The Stuart Chamber and Rose Acre Farms will be holding their Easter Egg Hunt at 1pm at Lawbaugh Park. Children will be broken up into three age groups, with each group having prize bags for the five kids with the most eggs found. Rose Acre Farms and the other business sponsors will provide a goodie bag to all children while supplies last, and eggs to families in attendance, also while supplies last. The age groups for the Stuart Easter Egg Hunt can be found below.
