Panorama Boys Head Basketball Coach Josh Beardsley explains the defensive adjustments that were made over the course of the year.

The most points that the Panthers allowed during the season was 93 to Madrid, while they held Ogden to 53 points in the final regular season game on February 10th. Beardsley believes the steady improvement on the defensive end was a main reason that Panorama had a lot of close contests, despite only winning two games. Beardsley finished his second year as the head coach for the Panthers, and is starting to witness the guys buy into his system.

“I can see on the defensive end that we were starting to do things better and we’re working more as a tandem group versus a couple of guys doing things correctly and others still trying to pick up the philosophy.”

Panorama finished the season at 2-20 overall, but will bring back three of their top four scorers for next year.
