Two more youth soccer leagues with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department are closing on registration deadlines.

JPRD Assistant Director Lyndsey Wathen says U8 Soccer League is from April 11th-May 9th with all games taking place on Saturday mornings at Kelso Park. She states that practices and exact game times will be figured out after the teams have been formed. Wathen details that the cost to participate is $35 for Greene County Community Center members and $40 for non-members, along with a $20 fee for jerseys that players get to keep at the end of the season. The registration deadline is this Tuesday.

Wathen points out the U6 Soccer League is from April 6th-May 4th with practices and games to be held on Mondays from 5:30-6:30pm also at Kelso Park, with the first half reserved for practices and the second half for games. She notes that the cost to participate is $20 for community center members and $25 for non-members. Wathen explains that jerseys are included, but players will not get to keep them after the season. The registration deadline is April 6th.
