It’s the season opener for the Perry Bluejays soccer team tonight as Perry plays host to the ADM Tigers. The action from Dewey Field is set to begin at 7pm.

Coach Cardenas looks to start the season off on the right foot as the first year coach prepares for his first official game as head coach of the Bluejays. With the second most goals scored for the Bluejays last season, senior Jacobo Cerna-Gomez looks to carry the torch after leading scorer Jonathan Banuelos graduated last season after leading the team with 25 goals. Cerna-Gomez, who notched in 22 last season, looks for success in this season opener against the Tigers.

The Bluejays look to repeat history after defeating ADM 3-0 in last season’s opener, with the action at Dewey Field set to begin today at 7pm.
