Mustangs boys soccer begins their 2026 campaign against CIML opponent, Johnston, later on this evening. 

DCG had a really good season last year, making it to the state quarterfinals. The Dragons were just as impressive. They made it all the way to the finals, where they battled a familiar foe in the Valley Tigers. In the end, Valley proved too much to tackle as they shut out Johnston in the 4A title game 3-0. 

The Mustangs look to get back to their winning ways tonight with the season opener. Lots of experience takes to the pitch with multiple returners, including some that were a part of the championship team three years ago in 2024. With leadership and experience, DCG hopes for another deep run into the playoffs. Kick-off is 7:30 at Johnston High School.
