Kory Jeschke is in his fourth season as the girls and boys head track & field coach at Paton-Churdan High School. The girls’ team has its first outdoor meet today at Audubon while the P-C boys open outdoors at Audubon tomorrow. Both Audubon meets have a 4:15 p.m. starting time.

Coach Jeschke is one of the guests on tonight’s PM Sports Magazine KG98 Edition at six o’clock, and he’s enthused not only with the talent on the squads, but the number of athletes out. The coach told Raccoon Valley Radio when he started at Paton-Churdan, there were times there weren’t enough runners to put together a relay, but now there are more than 25 freshmen through senior girls and boys out for the sport.

Both Audubon meets are scheduled to have more than a dozen schools participating.
