The Panorama School Board approved renewing some agreements.

Superintendent Kasey Huebner says that the first was their food purchasing agreement with the Area Education Agency. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio why that is important, and about the second agreement.

“That is a co-op to help keep our food prices down. We approved our Iowa Local Government Risk Pool Commission. Essentially that’s another co-op, a sharing agreement that we go into to help keep our gas prices down.”

He adds that the second agreement allows them to use the management fund to pay, leaving more space for them to do things in the general fund.
