The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Soccer Team will kick off the regular season tonight on the road in Perry seeking to get the year off on the right foot.
The Tigers are looking to build on their 10-7 season last year, where ADM didn’t win until their third game against Glenwood 5-0. The Bluejays lead the historical series over the Tigers 8-6, including a 3-0 victory from last season. ADM senior Cael Orban shares that he has physically progressed from his freshman year until now, and reveals his coaches have instilled a leadership trait within his game.
“Pushing me to have the next play mentality. They’ve helped me realize that there’s more to the game than just the little moments, and every little mistake is just a moment (and) it doesn’t define you as a player. I think across the staff, all the coaches have done a good job of realizing that, and then in turn, being able to lead the people around me, where a captain would speak up and just be somebody that uplifts everybody around me.”
The game is taking place from Perry High School, starting at 7pm.
