Administration at Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center is excited for the remainder of the school year.
Superintendent Josh Rasmussen says that the end of the school year is fast approaching, with several events like Prom and graduation coming up. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio of a few things that will be going on at the school to prepare for the end of the current school year, and the beginning of the next.
“So just trying to replace a couple people that have retired or have moved on. So we’ll do some hiring and get kids signed up for classes for next year. That’s a piece that the high school always goes through. So trying to find out what the interests are there for a lot of our high school students, and even our eighth graders who will be coming up here to the high school next year.”
Rasmussen mentions that there are also a lot of activities going on with athletics, fine arts and academics. He adds that he hopes the weather holds out so that they don’t miss any more days of school before the end of the year, and that some projects can get finished as well.
