The outdoor track and field season started yesterday for the Paton-Churdan girls. Coach Kory Jeschke’s Rockets were in the 14 team Audubon Early Bird Meet under much warmer than usual temperatures.

The Rockets entered nine of the 19 events and the highest placing came in the 10 flight shuttle hurdle relay with the Rockets in seventh place in 1:20.57 with Holly Miller, Maddie Mobley, Kallie Fisher, and Isabella Rice. Alivya Smith had a top 10 finish in ninth place in the discus throw at 93 feet even.

The P-C boys start their outdoor season today at Audubon.
