The Panorama Track and Field Teams traveled to Earlham on Tuesday for the Early Bird Meet, with junior Reed Draper marking first in the Boys Long Jump.

The Panthers competed against 12 other schools, and Draper came out on top in the Boys Long Jump event going 19 feet and 10.50 inches for first place. Draper was also eighth in the 100 Meter Dash at 12.35 seconds. In the Boys Shot Put, Panorama senior Cristian Monrroy-Nunez threw 13.06 meters for fifth, then sophomore Corbin Deardorff tallied fifth place in the open 400 Meters at 57.84 seconds.

On the girls side, Panther sophomore Emma Walker threw 27.81 meters in the discus for fifth and garnered 13th in the shot put at 8.45 meters. Also, junior Laciey Lutz ran 2:45.28 in the open 800 Meters for ninth place, followed by freshman Addison Wagner that notched 11th in the 100 Meter Hurdles running 23.17 seconds.

The relays were represented well for Panorama, seeing the Girls 4×800 Meter Team getting third place and the Girls 1600 Meter Distance Medley finishing fourth.

The Panthers next meet will be in Panora this coming Tuesday, April 7th for the Kip Janvrin Invitational. The full results from the Earlham Early Bird can be found by clicking here.
