The West Central Valley Boys Soccer Team came out victorious in their season/home opener in Stuart on Tuesday, beating Tri-Center 3-1.

The Wildcats struck quickly with senior Aiden Brandon, who got an early steal and shot the ball inside the right side of the net a little more than three minutes into the contest to give West Central Valley a 1-0 lead. However, the Trojans would get on the scoreboard about 12 minutes later as Tri-Center senior Johnathan Zacharias scored to cut the deficit to 3-1.

No more scoring would happen as West Central Valley went on to win the game 3-1 to notch a 1-0 record on the season. Tri-Center falls to 0-1 and will be back in action tomorrow for their home opener against Council Bluffs Jefferson.
