The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Soccer Team will play their first game of the 2026 season tonight in Adel, against Raccoon River Conference opponent North Polk.

A year ago, the Comets and Tigers were the top two teams in the conference, as North Polk was first at 13-3-2 overall (8-0 RRC), while ADM finished 12-7-1 on the season (5-1-1 RRC). Since 2021, the head to head matchups have favored the Comets, who have taken all five games, including a 2-0 victory last season. ADM senior Bella Hulscher shares that this year’s team has a tight bond with each other.

“Freshmen to seniors, we’re all so close and we can talk to each other about anything if we’re having a bad day or something like that. We’re always there for each other.”

This will be the first contest for both teams, as the game will be held from Tiger Stadium in Adel tonight, beginning at 7pm.
