Coach Kory Jeschke’s Paton-Churdan boys’ track & field team opened the outdoor season on Tuesday at the Audubon Early Bird Relays. The Rockets competed among 14 teams and had a first place finish from junior high jumper Trevon Keely who cleared the bar at 6′ 4″.

Other high finishes for the Rockets came from Damen Rice in the 400 meter dash in 53.09 seconds good for second place, and two third place finishes from Blaise Schilling. He was third in the long jump at 20′ 2″, and third in the 200 meter dash in :23.34.
