The Easter holiday is this weekend and there are a couple of opportunities left in Greene County for kids to do egg hunts.

Abundant Life Ministries is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at 11am this Saturday, which will be for newborns to 11 year olds. According to the organization, there will also be free train rides, along with free hotdogs, chips and drinks while supplies last, and giveaways for those that enter.

Finally, the Grand Junction Fire and Rescue will also host an egg hunt on Saturday. Terry Hoefle, with the fire and rescue unit, says children ages one to nine years old are to meet at the city park for registrations at 12:30pm and the hunt begins at 1pm. He points out that there will be separate areas for different age groups to find eggs.
