A Perry man was arrested following a report of child endangerment on Wednesday.
According to court records, Tyler Prussing was arrested on a warrant for child endangerment – bodily injury, a Class D Felony.
Court documents show that the Department of Health and Human Services filed a report on March 30 stating Prussing had engaged in a physical act against a child, resulting in a bodily injury. The criminal complaint details that during an interview with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and a DHHS case worker, Prussing admitted to slapping the child on the face, resulting in a bruise on his right cheek.
Prussing was booked into the Dallas County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
