It is Easter weekend and two opportunities remain in Greene County for egg hunts for kids.

Abundant Life Ministries are hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at 11am for newborns to 11 year olds. According to the organization, there will also be free train rides, along with free hotdogs, chips and drinks while supplies last, and giveaways for those that enter. If there is inclement weather, the egg hunt and the food will be done indoors.

The other opportunity is at the Grand Junction Fire and Rescue Station. Terry Hoefle, with the fire and rescue unit, says children ages one to nine years old are to now meet at the fire station, due to inclement weather, for registrations at 12:30pm and the hunt begins at 1pm. He points out that there will be separate areas for different age groups to find eggs.
