The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet tomorrow morning.

The Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed property tax rate for the 2027 fiscal year at 8:30am. 

Then the regular meeting begins at 8:45am with the Board setting a public hearing for the proposed 2027 fiscal year budget, followed by considering renewing the deductible buy down policy on the construction of the new county jail and renewing the county’s dental and vision insurance rates. Additionally, the Board will consider approving three road closure resolutions on Parkland Avenue, X Avenue and portions of County Roads E-26 and P-46. 

The Board will also consider approving the Iowa Department of Transportation next fiscal year budget with the Greene County Secondary Roads Department, along with the five-year construction program. Finally, the Board will consider a resolution to hire a new Information Technology Director.
