
The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session tomorrow.
The Board will hear construction updates about capital projects, including the Secondary Roads Administration Addition, Dallas County Courthouse renovation project and evidence storage and firing range for the sheriff’s office.
The Board will award certificates of appreciation to five individuals for years of service ranging from five to 20.
The Board will also sign a Child Abuse Prevention Proclamation, discuss the recorder’s request to use records management funds for a historical records project and will hear an Emergency Medical Services department update.
Items on the agenda that are seeking approval include setting public hearings for the proposed fiscal year 2027 county budget presentation and for proposed changes to Chapter 45 zoning ordinance regarding accessory dwelling units and board appointments to the planning and zoning commission.
The meeting will take place at 9 a.m. tomorrow inside the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room, 800 Court Street, in Adel.
