The leader of the Panorama Girls Soccer Team shares how he’s teaching young women to work together in preparation for the real world after high school.
Panthers Girls Head Coach Paul Kautzky is hoping to lead his team to another successful year in his second season, after winning 12 games a year ago. However, he wants the girls to learn how important it is to be a team player, as it affects every aspect of life.
“You’ve got to know how to talk to different people throughout life, so it’s very important to learn what girls have strong suits, where their weaknesses are, and you try to improve on that as a whole, just picking girls up.”
Kautzky emphasizes that his main objective is to prepare girls for the workforce, family life, and other experiences they may have. As far as soccer goes, Panorama had their season opener against West Central Valley rescheduled to April 30th and will hit the road to Des Moines tomorrow to face Grand View Christian at 5pm.
