From left to right: Camden Wilson, Natalie Lensch, and Chloe Hokel

Adel-DeSoto-Minburn sophomores Chloe Hokel, Natalie Lensch, plus senior Camden Wilson will all be apart of the Raccoon Valley Bank Dallas County PM Sports Magazine tonight on KDLS to discuss the upcoming golf season.

The Tigers Girls Girls Golf Team is preparing to begin the regular season tomorrow in Ames against Gilbert, as there’s much optimism surrounding the girls. Five seniors graduated from last year’s team and Hokel explains the advice that they left her with.

“They’ve taught me a lot of patience and again that positive mindset, just forgetting the bad shots because it is a game and you should be enjoying it just as much as you’re playing and doing good as well.”

Lensch is a huge supporter of ADM Head Coach Dana Brown.

“I think Dana’s one of the sweetest souls that I know. And she just really shows her support for the whole team, and I just really appreciate that.”

And for Wilson, she is focused on constantly improving her game throughout the season.

“My main goal is to just get my scores as low as possible. I started off with pretty high scores and this year I’m getting them down, but if I can get them down more, then that would be perfect.”

Hokel, Lensch, and Wilson will be featured on the Raccoon Valley Bank Dallas County PM Sports Magazine on KDLS 94.3 and 99.7 FM, plus AM 1310 starting at 6pm. The program includes in depth conversations in the activities department for Perry, ADM and Dallas Center-Grimes High Schools.
