On Monday, the Perry Bluejays track team traveled to Jefferson for the Rams Relays. The Bluejays finished with 68 team points to claim 5th place, scoring a majority of their points in the relay events.

Junior Rylan Modlin continues to impress in the 200m, claiming first place and scoring 10 points for Perry, crossing the finish line in 22.96 seconds. In individual events, freshman Xavier Leake claimed third in long jump, clearing 19 feet five inches granting the Bluejays six more points. The relay teams found success as the 4×200 relay team claimed first place, while the 4×100 and 800 sprint medley team claiming second with three relay teams claiming third for the Bluejays.

Perry boys track return to action today, traveling to Ballard High School for the Bomber COED relays. The action is set to begin at 4:30pm.
