Greene County High School sports teams are hoping the weather cooperates today. There is boys’ and girls’ soccer, and boys and girls track & field on the varsity schedule for today and tonight.

Coach Chad Black and the boys’ soccer Rams face Des Moines Christian on the Lions’ home field in Urbandale after losing on Tuesday night in Winterset to fall to 5-2 on the season. The Lions are 4-1-1. Coach Wes Anderson’s girls’ soccer Rams are 0-5 without a goal this season and they host Atlantic at 5:30 p.m. at Linduska Field in Jefferson. The Trojans are 1-6 with one goal scored this season.

The Rams are scheduled for the Tigers Relays track and field meet in Carroll at 4:30 p.m. Derek Merk is the girls’ head coach and Chad Morton is head boys’ coach.
