The Panorama FFA Chapter took part in the Iowa FFA Convention this last Sunday through Tuesday.

Advisor Steven Hameister says that they had 17 members participate in the service project packing meal packets for Meals for the Heartland on Monday morning, and were even able to bring back some packets for the Panther Food Pantry at the school. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the Chapter Activity Display showcasing the Chapter’s Plant Buddies learning event with the elementary school received a Silver Rating, while the Farm Business Management contest team received a Bronze Rating.

Hameister mentions that the Chapter also had five more Bronze Ratings, along with two more Silver Ratings. He adds that there were also five members who received their State Degrees.
