Plenty of sunshine, but a difficult playing golf course greeted golfers on Friday near Dayton at the Oak Park Course for a five team girls’ nine hole tournament. Greene County finished in first place with a score of 227. Glidden-Ralston was second at 237 with the host SEV Jaguars were third at 239, followed by Ogden 268, and 281 by Manson-Northwest Webster.

Coach Heath Teleen told Raccoon Valley Radio the course took a toll on all the players with all the OB (out of bounds) and hazards. Alivia Cornell shot 52 for meet medalist honors. Calleigh Fitzpatrick and Lila Osterseon each shot 58 with Osterson placing fifth overall on the card back. The final score counting in the team total was a 59 by Taylor Johnson. All four Rams are seniors.
