
Today is the second day of the city of Stuart’s annual clean up days.
The event is open to residents in the town of Stuart only, and each household may only bring in two pickup loads or an equivalent amount. Items accepted for no charge include trash, batteries, metal, and appliances like washers, dryers, refrigerators and small appliances like microwaves. Objects that will not be accepted include paint, tires, hazardous waste and recyclable materials like paper, glass, cardboard and plastic. Items that will be accepted for a charge, which must be paid before the items can be unloaded, can be found below.

LCD/LED/Plasma TVs – $20
CRT TVs and Monitors – $25
Console and Rear Projection TVs – $35
